Industry Ready Pathway

For anyone whose love for flowers is guiding them towards working as a professional florist, we offer a 12 month intensive Industry Ready Course for those wanting to be professional florist and enter the industry.

Study with us for 4 hours a week - yes, it’s okay if you work full time!

Study the principles and techniques of floral design, and acquire retail and business management skills required to thrive in the industry.

In our Seed, Bud and Blossom classes you’ll create professional floral design and arrangements, using professional techniques.

Online Tuition

Using professional techniques, our Online Floristry Courses teach floral design skills and the fundamentals of floral arranging as if you were in the studio.

Our Founder

Adelaide Floristry School is owned and operated by Vanessa Miglis, a floristry educator who has over 26 years of floristry industry experience:

“Flowers have always been my passion- from the smell to the texture, the way flowers make me feel and especially the scented blooms take me to my happy place.

I am very fortunate that I have found an industry that inspires and offers service to the community. Every time I design a floral for a event, gift, or the individual I have been a part of their day. To me that's the gift of life that brings calm and aids mindfulness from mother nature.”

Emma runs her own Wedding Planning & Styling business, Emma Kate which started after she had begun her career in the Hospitality Industry and fell in love with designing and arranging flowers for events.

After being trained as a student at Adelaide Floristry School, Emma has always prided herself on sharing her love for flowers and the Wedding Industry with others through creating personalised designs for her clients. Emma brings passion, an eye for detail and a classic style to the team and we’re thrilled to now have her on board.
